I feel like more and more teenagers are scared to lift weights because they don't want to get too big. This is not a bad thing, because they will obviously don't get too big. It's not like you're gonna wake up in a month from now, look in the mirror and cry because you're too big, it won't happen, you will never get too much muscles. If being big was that easy, eveyone would be big. No matter what your goals are, there's a way to achieve them. Setting goals is good, it will get your a purpose to go out and lift weights. You will be able to see yourself in the futur. To really be sure about what you want to achieve. To set your goals in the gym, you need to first concentrate on 3 steps. - Get a habit - Set a goal - Perfection your training, nutrition and mindset towards that goal. Get a habit

- By that I mean that most people won't be able to start a hard training and perfect diet tomorrow, then follow it for the rest of there lifes. You must first get a habbit of either going to the gym, even if you're only walking and doing a few push ups after OR eating right and preparing your food. It will prepare you to go to the gym (X) times per week or making sure your meals are ready so you don't skip any. After you have a habit going, it's easier to move on to the next step. Set a goal

- You either wanna get big, stay small, gain weight, get fit or lose fat. Now that you have the habbit going, you need to figure out what you want to achieve with the gym. Say you wanna gain 20 pounds of muscles in a year, which is somewhat achievable for a teen. Then make that your priority. Perfection your techniques

- Now that you have a goal in mind, do anything possible to reach that goal. Make research on how to achieve it. Change your training program and diet according to that goal. Change your mindset and surround yourself with supporting and positive people. Now one thing important about goals is that they have to be YOUR goal and not SOMEBODY ELSE'S goal. YOU have to do it for yourself. YOU have to do what YOU want to do and what works for YOU. What makes YOU happy. Bodybuilding is an invidual sport, going to the gym with your buddys might be fun, but remember, no matter what they do, it will never change you. If they decide to skip a day, and you follow them, you're cheating on yourself. Remember, you'll be the one at the gym blood, sweat and tears, squatting till you puke to get the physique that you want, no body is gonna do it for you, so why do it for somebody else? Do it for yourself, for what YOU really want to achieve. YOU, my friend, are the master of your own destiny, YOU will create your own reality. Make sure to enjoy the journey as much as the end result. Hope you have a good weekend.
