Most important factor in bodybuilding



The most important part of natural bodybuilding may seem like it is the aesthetics (big muscles) but in reality, it is not.

The most important factor into becoming the best natural bodybuilder that you can be is... being HEALTHY. How you feel is way more important than how you look. If you feel good, you will look good aswell there's no way arround it.

How do you become healthy?

- Eating REAL food
- Having a good sleep cycle
- Doing cardio with your weight lifting

- Avoid stressfull situations
- Foam rolling, stretching, yoga and meditation

 

By being healthy you will be able to become the best YOU that you can be. Having big muscles is one thing, being healthy is another. Being healthy will help you get bigger, stronger in the gym and outside of the gym. It will give you a lot more energy, it will also regulate your hormones so that you feel mentally stronger and happier. The only way you can be your best and you can show your best is by being the healthiest your can be, your body directly reflects how healthy the inside of your body and mind is. You will be able to push more weights, get more nutrients, and recover a lot faster this way. Most people think they're healthy when infact, they've got it all wrong.

Eating real food

- Food is thy medicine, you're literally made out of what you eat. If you eat artificial sugars all the time, your body is addicted to it and the only way to get energy back is by re-eating those artificial sugars (sounds like pre-workouts doesn't it?). You need to detox from artificial sugars and from processed food. You need to start eating REAL food, vegetables, fruits, nuts, meat, and nothing else. You will be much more grounded, you will have way more energy, and you will gain muscles FASTER. 

Also make sure to get all your minerals and vitamins and to drink anough water to constantly detoxify your body from toxins.

 

Having a good sleep cycle
- Sleep is one of the most important thing for bodybuilding, because it keeps you healthy by reparing muscle tissue and doing many things that your body can't do when you're awake. Sleep is the MAIN reason why you have energy when you're awake. Many many generations before ours, mans use to get up when the sun did, and go to bed when the sun went down ; now with artificial light coming our way from cellphones and laptops, our body constantly think it's the middle of the day when in reality you're going to sleep in a few mins. Scientist suggest being in low light or no lights at all a few hours before bed, which will make us sleep way easier by releasing melatonin (the sleep hormone), and will regulate our sleep cycle. It is also important to go to bed at roughly the same time and get up at roughly the same time everyday to maximize hormones production.

 

Doing cardio with weight lifting
- Having a lot of muscles and not being able to move is not cool, n'or is it good for your health and futur muscle growth. Make sure to keep a balance between weight lifting and cardio. The right cardio approach will help you build muscles, burn fat and have much more endurance durings weight lifting sets.

Avoid stressfull situations
- Stress KILL your muscle gains in so many ways. You don't feel like eating anymore, you're weaker, your body is filled with catabolic hormones like cortisol which are counter productive to testosterone floating in your system. It messes up your mind so you're not happy, and your body will directly reflect this.

 

Foam rolling, stretching, yoga and meditation
- These are all things that will get you in touch with your mind to body connection. The better mind to body connection you have, the easier it becomes to grow muscles and to get stronger in certain areas. Meditation and yoga will calm your mind down and release good hormones for muscle growth. Weight lifting itself can be a source of meditation for many.
 

 



By being a natural bodybuilder you're helping your body and your mind to be the healthiest they can be already, so why not do it right. You can't gain muscles or lose fat effecently if your not healthy. Remember, you create your own reality,  you either complain that you can't do something, or you ACT and DO IT.
